Capt. Scooby reporting that Bass are being caught on flies. Cold front just passed 2 days ago!! Weather cleared, air 68 this morning, water at Palo Gaucho bridge launch is 71 deg. and the backcountry is 66!! Bass will be moving back in the creeks following the shad. Test was done from first light to 9:00 am. Spotted Bass came on rocky points with the top water flies, 1-4’ of water. Black Bass came on the subsurface Black/Blue Baby Ringo Fly..1-12’ of water in the creek. Fall is here! Get on the water, be safe and wear your life jacket.
