Capt. Scooby on Toledo Bend Lake in Hemphill, Texas reporting in that on Thursday evening fishing the backwater was off the charts!  Fishing in shallow very clear water.  Bass 8″ to 16″ were caught on a Natural Forage craw worm.  Yes… Boyd caught more Bass than me.  Special note:  Slow retrieve on the bottom, had to make the mud trail puff to trigger the bite.  Rod – Mudfish Guide Series 6’ med/fast (class build).

Water temp.:  52-54
Water depth:  Shallow, very clear water
Bait:  Natural Forage craw worm (Black/Red flake. Tungsten 1/4 oz. bullet style weight on 2/0 owners EWG hook).
